Gary is the recipient of several prestigious awards including Fellow of the M&A Source, Fellow of the IBBA, the M&A Source Champions Award, the Tom West Award, and the Darrell Fouts Award presented by the M&A Source for exceptional leadership and personal contributions to expanding the vision of the M&A profession.
Gary is a published contributor for industry publications and has been a guest speaker at industry conferences throughout the country.
A graduate of Albright College, Gary and his wife have three grown daughters and reside in Hughesville, PA. Gary is an active Rotarian and enjoys hiking, biking, and traveling to warm climates during the winter months.

Karen has been the executive assistant of IBG/CK Business Consultants, Inc. since 2007. As Mr. Papay’s personal assistant she is responsible for preparation of all aspects of the merger and acquisition process, and the day to day operations of the business. Prior to joining IBG/CK Business Consultants, Inc. Karen was an office manager responsible for receivables, payables, payroll, purchasing, and quoting for a contracting firm. In her spare time she is a “soccer mom” and enjoys cooking and reading.
